The Conference ‘Climate Change and ACP responses’ has attracted over 120 people from a range of different governmental institutions, North and South NGOs, ACP embassies etc. The Conference has mainly discussed two things- the implications of climate change on ACP countries and secondly what adaptation possibilities for ACP countries exist to tackle climate change in the future. The conference reflects the need to include climate change in the development policies and find common solutions and positions. If action is not taken now, agriculture in ACP countries will be reduced by 50% in 2020, due to climate change.
